This past December fans of Elmo Jackson whose real name is William Ratliff, were excited to see the 25 year-old back on the scene after serving time for Uttering Forgery. When someone commits this offense it means that they have tried to pass a stolen check with the signature forged, asserting that the check is valid and is theirs to use.
Prior to that conviction, Ratliff was released in 2011 after serving two years for identity theft and credit fraud, and now it seems as though the troubled performer has once again found himself back in confinement.
