WATCH: FOXY BROWN BREAKS DOWN IN INTERVIEW, SAYS SHE'S TIRED, "I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES BECAUSE WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU GUYS DON'T UNDERSTAND"

I refuse to accept the caricatures that Lil Kim and Foxy Brown have become, therefore I choose to remember them as the sexy femcees they once were.

Brown was once one of raps' most prolific female emcees, being one of the first women to in Hip-Hop to infuse sex appeal with her rhymes. In 1996 the Brooklyn diva smashed the charts with her debut single "I'll Be" from her platinum-selling album Ill Na Na. In 1999 she followed it up with the platinum Chyna Doll, and 2001's gold-certified Broken Silence.

Since then it's been nothing but shelved albums and court appearances. In 2000 she crashed her Range Rover in Flatbush, Brooklyn and was arrested for driving without a license. In 2002 she got into a physical confrontation with police at Jamaica airport. According to reports Brown illegally evaded a body search at the airport and punched a policewoman in the stomach. Originally, a hearing for Brown was scheduled for July 28, 2002, but Brown failed to show up. Thus, in late December 2002, an arrest warrant was set up for Brown skipping the hearing

In 2004 she attacked two manicurist during a dispute of a $20 bill for which she refused to pay. She pled not guilty and was given three years of probation. In 2007 she was sentenced to one year in jail for violating her probation after getting into a physical altercation with another Jacki-O. While behind bars she was sentenced to 76-days in solitary confinement  after a physical altercation with another prisoner.

In 2007 she pleaded guilty for assaulting a beauty supply store employee. That same year she got into three other altercations including leaving the state of New York without permission while on probation, hitting a neighbor with a Blackberry, and almost running over a baby stroller with a child inside.

On July 22, 2010, Brown was charged with one count of criminal contempt, for violating an order of protection. The charge stemmed from an incident during the evening of July 21, 2010, in which it was claimed that Brown swore at and then mooned her neighbor Arlene Raymond, at whom she had thrown her BlackBerry, in 2007. Following the BlackBerry incident, Raymond has a restraining order against Brown.

Now in a recent interview on MTV's RapFix Live the former chart topper broke down, letting the world know that she's tired and has had enough.
"When it’s just completely redundant, when it’s negative stuff being said constantly, it becomes annoying. It becomes tiring."
The rapstress was brought to tears on camera, reminding us that she’s as strong as they come, even when she has to constantly defend herself:

"I have tears in my eyes right now because what I’ve been through, you guys don’t understand. The fact that somebody can just lie and it becomes a trending topic, where everybody is talking about it, and you have to constantly come out of the booth and stop what I’m doing to defend a lie… I have the heart of a soldier, but after a while it becomes ‘let her live.’ Let her live."
