Blame Diddy, Sean Garrett and The-Dream. In conjunction with the release of his debut project as an artist, Rico Love, liberates the music video for “They Don’t Know.” The first single off the Discrete Luxury EP is a smooth and catchy record about his woman on the side, who is much more than a jumpoff, someone he truly respects and has a real connection with.
The stark, black and white video, which reflects Rico’s interest in art and fashion, follows a mysterious female through an empty art gallery, ending with an obscured shot of the auteur himself.
“It’s metaphorical because you can’t see me fully, so you don’t know if it’s me, just like people don’t know that it’s me behind some of the songs they’re listening to,” Rico explained about the visual.
"They Don't Know" isn't a bad song, not a fan of its' message, but production wise it's a good listen. However, it'd be better if it were recorded by an artist who can actually sing and rap.
Discrete Luxury is available on iTunes now. Check out the video above and stay tuned!
