Diesel Washington's directorial debut Hard Wire has been in production for quite some time now, 16-months to be exact. The entire project has been one of Washington's most challenging venture of his entire career, "This has been the hardest project I ever worked on, Editing from two cameras, writing the story-line directing, taking stills, PA work, picking locations and working on the sets and wardrobe, and casting talent."
Talent which included Sarge, J.P. Richards, Rio, Python, Cristobal, Young Buck, Izzy James, Artist, crossover sensation Lawson Kane, Eddie Diaz, Robert Axel, Big Daddy, porn legend Matthew Rush, Samson, D. Lo, Junior, and two surprise entertainers. With a lineup such as this the project would have been a guaranteed success, right?
According to Diesel, the project has been put on hiatus. "Due to Creative differences....HARDWIRE has been parked!! I feel I let down the fans and all the people that were waiting patiently for this project to come out. I came up with the characters and storyline and I tried HARD to make this idea come to life only to come hit a WALL recently....."
He continued, "I'm only one person, and I tried to make this happen as best as I could. But problem after problem plagued this production. No production should take 16-months. I had my name on this project and my reputation was put on the line. I can't keep jumping over hurdles trying to release this project."
Diesel had to make plenty of sacrifices to ensure that Hard Wire would be one of the best urban pornographic films in recent memory.
"Lets be honest," as if he could ever be anything less, "I had to save my pennies and make sure everything was within reason to spend on this project. Dawgpoundusa gave me alot of creative control over this project, I try to film and produce content on a small budget, but Dawgpoundsusa was key in providing as much support as they could to make sure the realness factor was above and beyond, enough to compete with the mainstream."
When polled fans of urban porn had a lot to say in regards to what they expected to see within this release. 17% wanted to see strong passionate scenes, 10% wanted more kissing and foreplay, 6% wanted good acting and good looking models, and 5% wanted less talking and more fucking; which is typical of black gay porn, particularly with CocoDorm.

If there is one person whose happy about this, it would be Diesel's longtime rival Chase Coxx whom back in September posted via his Twitter, "Is anyone really anticipating Diesel Washingturd's directing debut for DawgPound feat. overly muscled black models? Will you support Diesel?" He then continued with the shade, "Remember when Diesel was getting hired by the white studios & thought he was better the rest of us blk performers?
