| 25 year-old Elmo sex abuse accuser Kevin Kiadii becomes latest victim in alarming gay hate crimes in New York City |
"The complaints in these cases were filed more than six years after the defendant's conduct with each plaintiff ended," Judge John Koeltl said after tossing the three cases on Monday, July 1st.
According to Kiadii he and a friend were on Empire Blvd. near Flatbush Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when he spotted four intoxicated men carrying another man out of the park. He approached the men, offering them his pineapple soda, which is when his night took a turn for the worse.
"The shortest one out of them, he was a hot head, he jumped in my face and started saying anti-gay slurs," Kiadii said.
He said that one took on a fighting stance, and Kiadii told them they should back away.
“When I said that, the one that was really intoxicated jumped into my face and said ‘I’m going to [expletive] you up’ and do this and ‘you F and [expletive],’ and I went into my bag, and pulled out my bottle of perfume, to imitate pepper spray,” Kiadii said.
The victim said he was able to quickly dial 911 on his phone and hand it to a bystander, but police who were nearby were already responding, taking four into custody.
Those arrested ranged in age from 13 to 18, and each were charged with gang assault, and aggravated harassment as a hate crime.
This is all apart of an alarming trend going on in the city of lights, as there have been at least 30 reported cases of attacks on homosexuals, double the amount around this time last year.
On May 17, Mark Carson was brutally murdered by the non-remorseful Elliot Morales, “He thought he was tough, and I shot him. It’s the last thing he’ll remember,” he said.
Carson was just 32 years-old.
