The latest reveal from veteran singer/songwriter Bobby V (formerly Bobby Valentino)'s upcoming Peach Moon EP, which drops on December 10th via iTunes. He asks that you forget the bandwagon and come join the band, and also big-ups all his haters. "I want my fans to feel like my entourage. I want them to walk every step of the way with me until we reach the top."
"Who Am I to Change" expresses Bobby V's artistic growth, shying away from what has become his signature Tim and Bob sound. As an fan of the "Slow Down" crooner, I wasn't too fond of his last album 2012's Dusk Till Dawn. Although lead singles "Mirror" and "Ooh (She Got Me Like)" were decent, they were not enough to persuade me into dropping my laundry on the LP.
However, with the inclusion of live instruments, and a more soulful vibe, Peach Moon just may make it to my extensive Bobby V collection that includes Bobby Valentino (2005), Special Occasion (2007), The Rebirth (2009), Fly on the Wall (2011), and literally every mixtape and unreleased track from the 33 year-old singer.
Ready for a change, let Bobby V lead the way after the break.
