Gaga, Katy, and Britney ans their fans can officially "Bow Down!!" The previously released buzz song of the same name, released by Beyonce earlier this year, as well as the above image could not have been a better indication of what the future would bring!
It has been revealed that in little over 24 hours after making its debut on iTunes, BEYONCE sold an astonishing 430,000 copies, 120,000 more than her previous release 4--sold within an entire week.
According to Billboard, the self-titled visual LP has easily moved enough units to secure the No. 1 spot on next week’s Billboard 200.
BEYONCE sold over 80,000 downloads in the first three hours of release and throughout Friday moved another 350,000, putting the total at 430,000.
With two more days left in the sales week, Billboard has predicted that the diva's fifth album could top 600,000. Final numbers will be announced when the chart is revealed on Wednesday, December 18.
Meanwhile, BEYONCE is on track to become the biggest sales week by a female artist since Taylor Swift sold 1.2 million copies of Red in November 2012. In addition, it would give Beyonce the best debut week and best sales week of her entire career. Her 2006 album B’Day opened with 541,000 in September 2006.
Additionally, these are only digital sales. Physical copies are currently in production and are scheduled to arrive in stores on December 23. Meaning the album could very well be considered platinum before the years end.
The 32 year-old has already revealed that "Blow" and "Drunk in Love" will serve as the first releases from the album. While "XO" will be released afterwards.
All hail the Queen!!
