GREG B--Charles Pugh, former Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh appears to be in more trouble after inappropriate text messages are discovered with teen.
WJBK Detroit, first reported that text messages have been uncovered between Charles Pugh and a student he was mentoring.
Per the case report from Madison Heights Police Department, Mr. Pugh and the teen exchanged several inappropriate text messages. The text messages contained nude videos and pictures, that were traded for video games, and money for the teen. Pugh had access to the teen for the purposes of a mentoring program. So Pugh was in a position of confidence for the teen, and these reports are stating a blatant violation of that trust.
Sickeningly, according to the report, some of the text messages that contained videos earned the teen cash based on pleasure Pugh received from that video. In essence the more Pugh liked the video the more cash he gave the teen.
Pugh instructed the teen to delete the text messages saying “Dude, if anyone finds out about this: I’m dead,” Pugh allegedly texted. “So please keep this between us.”
Despite all this evidence Pugh avoided charges, this changed during a trip to K&G when Pugh allegedly touched the teen’s leg when they sat in the vehicle. The teen refused the advance, and there was no further action,” Paul Walton from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
To exacerbate the situation, Pugh still continued the text messages, saying; “I wanna see your body. Front and back. So the video has to show everything. lol. #EVERYTHING.”
In another, he wrote: “Dude, your body is fucking AMAZING. I just wanna give u more money to watch u walk around naked. lol.”
Pugh met the student at Fredrick Douglas Academy in Detroit when he was 17 years old.
It’s unclear if the case report will be sent to the Wayne County’s Prosecutor’s Office, but Pugh will not face any charges in Oakland County.
He lost all that weight, and lost all common sense in the process.
