Teedra Moses' angelic voice was mostly silent through 2013, having only released the buzzworthy "Can't Be Luv." The guitar driven track was the lead single from her forthcoming project The Empress Pride Collection, slated for release back in June of last year--has yet to be heard. However as always Moses always has a surprise for her fans, releasing a new song in honor of a good cause. The Lioness released “Secrets of Life," with proceeds going towards the A.R.K. (America’s Random Kindness).
“The A-R-K is non profit organization that helps families affected by the foreclosure crisis get back into homes and homeownership. Its a great cause!! #AmericasRandomKindnes #WeMustHelpOthers #BlackMosesMusic #LionessLuv PLEASE HELP OUT!!,” shared Teedra.
Take a listen to the smooth tune after the break, and support by purchasing the song on iTunes. As for her sophomore album and MMG debut "The Lioness, Lover, Believer, Dreamer, no release date has been set--a subject the 37 year-old songbird touched upon in an interview last April.
“There’s always been a business side of me holding back the release of my project. But I think that God’s will is perfect and times when I’ve tried to put out an album and it ends up changing or it didn’t happen, things have always gotten better. Probably because I have gotten better and I’ve always gotten stronger....I feel that the product is at its strongest, I believe the product is ready, so the album should be out really soon because it is there.”
Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
