BILLBOARD RANKS THE TOP 'SUPERBOWL HALF-TIME' PERFORMANCES: MICHAEL JACKSON, PRINCE, BEYONCE, MADONNA AND MORE

One of the most monumental performances of any artist career is without a doubt being the main act of the SuperBowl Half-time show. It's a moment where millions of Americans from all different walks of life, tune in for the big game, introducing the artist to a whole new fanbase that may not have had prior knowledge of the performer.

Over the past couple of years over 100 million-plus people have tuned into the most watched sporting event on television, and the SuperBowl Half-time Show is just as important. During Madonna's 2012 performance, more people watched the Half-time show than the actual game making her performance the most watched in Superbowl history!

After their 2013 performance, Beyonce and Destiny's Child's digital song sales rose by 600%, with Beyonce's solo sales increasing by 230% - the most popular song being 'Halo', which Beyonce sang to close her set.

After you are invited to perform during the Superbowl, you are a part of an elite group of pop superstar’s whose name is forever written in history.

But, is there one that completely takes the crown for ‘best ever’?  Billboard seems to think so. 

The question is where will Bruno Mars impressive set rank? I'd say pretty high.
