The grown and sexy R. Kelly is ready to give these R&B lightweights such as Trey Songz, Chris Brown and Miguel, a lesson with his latest offering Black Panties. NEW VIDEO: NIKKI JEAN "TAKE YOU OUT"
Although I haven't dated a woman in years, I know that a woman scorned is someone you don't play with.
After an impressive debut with her 2011 album Pennies In A Jar, singer/songwriter Nikki Jean has returned with a short video for her new single “Take You Out.”
Nikki gets literal in the clip, showing off her arsenal of weapons, while seductively singing the acoustic tune on a plush couch, while her date victim is bound and gagged.
“Take You Out” is the first release off Nikki’s upcoming new project Little Yellow Different, which is scheduled to be released early 2014.

WATCH: MAGIC JOHNSON TALKS HIV, HOMOSEXUALITY IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND HIS OPENLY GAY SON E.J., "YOUNG GAY [BLACK] MEN ARE AFRAID TO TELL THEIR PARENTS"
Ervin "Magic " Johnson dicusses HIV, homosexualiy in the black community and his openly gay son E.J. |
However, more than two decades after contracting HIV, the basketball legend turned activist sat down with Anderson Cooper on CNN's AC360 this week to address HIV, homosexuality in the black community, his gay son, and the double-edge sword that has become his legacy.
In a both candid and pointed interview, Johnson spoke about his personal battle with the virus, and how his image as an HIV survivor may have shifted over time from a positive force driving education to that of a negative force inspiring complacency. Johnson, well aware of his star-power, referred to himself as "the blessing and the curse of HIV.”
"I'm the blessing because people were talking about it, they ran out and got tested at that time. Then I'm the curse because…people now say, oh well, HIV is nothing because if I get it I can be like Magic. He's doing good, and I can do the same thing he's doing or take the same medicine he's taking and I'll be okay," Johnson said. "But what they don't understand, in 22 years, millions of people have died."
Since his diagnosis in 1991, Johnson has been a driving influence helping to change attitudes, and his activism has inspired education and awareness throughout America. His focus now, as he told Cooper, is on the African American and Latino communities where infection rates of HIV are proportionally higher than any other group affected.
To compound his concern, Johnson’s own son E.J. has recently come out as gay, which triggers both hope and fear in the 12-time all-star, who spent much of his early years fighting a virus alongside other HIV-positive folks, predominantly gay, white men.
Having worked with members of the LGBT community for decades, Johnson is hoping that just as he’s had their back in regard to his own activism, he hopes the “community” will help take care of his 20 year old son, picking up where his personal knowledge base lacks. "What I wanted the gay community to do for me is help my son," he said, "give him the right information, help him to grow and be a good young man. Things that I can't talk about, that I don't know about, they can help him."
When E.J. came out this year, both Johnson and his wife Cookie, both practicing Christians, faced some challenges in their own religious community. Also addressing the lack of acceptance among African-Americans in general, Johnson admitted that he and his wife are “one of the minorities in this," referring to their unwavering support for their son. "In the black community, young gay men or young ladies who are lesbians, they're afraid to tell their parents," he says.
Not only one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Johnson continues to show why he’s considered one of the greatest advocates of all time. Not just for those battling HIV, but Johnson with the help of his son, are now challenging both religious and minority communities to accept LGBT people, saying, “Tell me when it hits your own family..."

WATCH: NEW MASTURBATION VIDEO OF ANTHONY FROM 'CATFISH' HITS THE NET
I wonder how Max and Nev feel about this one!
Who could forget most anticipated episode of MTV's hit show Catfishthat premiered this past July, featuring homosexual veteran Anthony and his lover "Marq."
Anthony was fooled by a fake profile made by a unique character known as Fremel. The two had known each other for a year, and had been online-dating for seven months. As the episode progressed myself and many of the Twitter universe could not understand how "Kush Blaze" could allow himself to be so gullible. And once he found out that "Marq" was actually a club promoter named Josh, who was being portrayed by Fremel, the theatrics kicked into high gear.
As I was watching the episode I couldn't help but notice how full Anthony's back pockets were. All praises to God, during the airing, the kings and queens did some research and found some delightful photos and a video of Anthony showing his baked cakes. Apparently the photo was originally posted back in January of this year with the caption, "2 is better than 1." When the photo's taste factor came into question Anthony responded, "I’m just showing a little skin. What’s wrong with that?" The photo/tweet was later deleted, but as we know once something is out in these internet streets, it only takes a second for someone to 'right click' or take a screen-capture.

CLASSIC: 112 "PEACHES AND CREAM" [MUSIC VIDEO]
In the 90's you either a fan of 112 or Jagged Edge, and I was all about Q, Daron, Slim and Keith.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the former Bad Boys, signed to the Def Soul roster in 2002 before forming their own label Twelve Music Group. The Grammy-award winning group had great success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as "Only You", "Anywhere" and the Grammy-nominated single, "Peaches and Cream".
"Peaches & Cream" was released in April 2001 as the second single from the album, Part III. The song was nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 44th Grammy Awards in 2002. The song peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart and #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying in the Top 40 for 25 weeks and making it their highest-charting Hot 100 single to date.
In 2008 Keith decided to leave 112 and go solo. He stated that a former bandmate stole his, and member Slim's, money, causing the two to leave. Slim however stated that he never fell out with anyone over money and was still apart of 112. According to Keith, his business partner showed him that he wasn't receiving his royalty checks and that he needed to sue either Q or Daron. In an interview Q said that he respected Keith as a man but wished that he would not have released false rumors out into the public. Keith later stated that his personal relationships with the other three members are good, but business wise he couldn't deal with them anymore.
Keith, the most unheard member of the group, released his debut solo album, Michael Keith, on September 30, 2008 as a digital download through iTunes and Amazon MP3. He also released two songs "She's My Superstar" and "Sexy" under the pseudonym "Dangerus" via the internet. In 2010, Keith reconciled with the other three members of 112. In addition, Slim released his first solo album Love's Crazy back in 2008, led by the moderately successful single "So Fly."
Daron released his solo debut Uncensored in 2010, led by the single "Money." And last year Q released a fitness calendar in support of breast cancer, along with his debut solo album The MANual--led by the single "Yes."
With the members finally being on good terms, having completed the successful For The Fans Tour last year, hopefully another album is in the works from one of my favorite R&B male-groups of yesteryear.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: J HOLIDAY 'M.I.A. (THE LOST PAGES)' MIXTAPE [DOWNLOAD]
I could not be more excited about this new J. Holiday album Guilty Conscience led by the single "After We Fuck."
Last week the DC crooner debuted the music video for the album's latest release, title track "Guilty Conscience." While I impatiently await the release of his forthcoming effort, which is slated to be released on December 10, I had to revisit his 2011 mixtape M.I.A. (The Lost Pages).
The 12-track affair was released during the same time Holiday was shopping for a new label after leaving Capitol Records. It is a collection of new material, unreleased tracks and leaks, including a cover of one of my favorite songs of all time, "Oh Sheila."
With a new deal on Island/Def Jam, and reconciled relationship with The-Dream he is poised to get back to where he belongs. After a strong fan request, and much needed promo the soulful singer is back where he belongs, on the stage.

MODEL SPOTLIGHT: BRODERICK HUNTER'S EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH DETAILS, "I HAVE A CONFESSION, I DON'T WORK OUT"
Broderick Hunter is without a doubt one of the elite male models in the industry. Known to the masses as Ciara's love interest in the music video for her 2012 hit "Sorry," Hunter never thought about modeling until contacted by a photographer that would change the course of his life.
Hunter whose represented by Soul Artist Management (New York), D'Management (Milan), Wilhelmina (Miami), Chosen Models (Chicago), LA Models and NTA (Los Angeles), stand's at 6'2", and never works out?!
In Details ongoing series, Model in the Spotlight, the magazine gets up close and personal with the 22 year-old, California native:
DETAILS: HOW WERE YOU DISCOVERED?
BRODERICK HUNTER: When I was on Facebook late one night a photographer named Tyren Redd reached out to me saying, "I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but you should be a model." I was kind of shocked and felt weird about it because I come from a long background of playing basketball. Not only was this new to me, but I also thought it was uncommon. I thought about it and ended up taking his photo-shoot offer because I figured it'd be a cool experience.
After I got the shots back I immediately threw them on my Facebook page. Days later I ended up on blogs and other social media sites and was so confused because I didn't think I was that good. I said to myself, "hmm, maybe we've got something here." I shot with Tyren a few more times and months after that, I quit playing basketball and made the decision to pursue modeling.
After about a year of being in the business on my own, I approached [modeling agent] Michael Maddox via Facebook about a casting he had posted. I submitted him my pictures and he liked me, so he offered to take over my career. I did some research and saw he managed quite a few successful people, so I took the offer and he placed me in all of the wonderful agencies I'm currently with.
DETAILS: WE HEAR YOU MENTOR CHILDREN. WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND MOST REWARDING ABOUT THAT EXPERIENCE?
BH: I'm working on starting a small organization where we reach out to kids that don't have someone to talk to. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youths between the ages of 10 and 24. I'm a strong believer that if you can simply relate and talk to this generation then we can prevent many kids from joining gangs, getting caught up in drug and alcohol, and from committing suicide. I love speaking to these kids and getting others involved. Knowing you helped them and they're walking with their head high is a rewarding experience.
DETAILS: ANY PRE-SHHOW OR PRE-SHOOT RITUALS?
BH: I always pray and thank God for the new blessing and opportunity, whether it's being on set for a photo-shoot, runway, or whatever—I always pray first. Then, I get my mind right to better understand the concept and do my best to deliver. I might hop scotch, squeeze in a few sit-ups, and do jumping jacks before my underwear shots.
DETAILS: THE CRAZIEST THING YOU'VE EVER BEEN ASKED TO MODEL?
BH: This one time, early on in my career, a guy asked me to be the face of his new "duct tape underwear" line. As a guy, you would understand my concern with the project. As much as I enjoy wrapping my lower abdomen in duct tape, I didn't want to be a part of it. Good luck to that gentleman, though.
DETAILS: IF YOU WEREN'T A MODEL, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
BH: I'd probably join the National Double Dutch League and show off my footwork. I'm joking. I'd most likely still be pursuing basketball and studying physical therapy. Basketball was always my passion and physical therapy was something that I was really interested in. But if I go back to school, I don't think I'd study therapy. I'd probably end up studying something more on the technology or business end.
DETAILS: YOUR GO-TO-OFF-DUTY OUTFIT?
BH:Jeans, any color plain T-shirt, and some Chucks or Nike Roshe Runs. I'm very basic when it comes to my off-duty wardrobe. You can find me at any local clearance and discount rack.
DETAILS: HOW DO YOU STAY IN SHAPE?
BH: I have a confession to make: I don't work out. You'll never catch me on a weight bench or a treadmill. Basketball is my only workout. Don't get me wrong, I might do a few sit-ups or a light jog every now and again, but it's definitely not a routine. I try to eat right and drink a gallon of water a day.
DETAILS: WHAT'S YOUR GROOMING ROUTINE?
BH: For my skin, I use St. Ive's Apricot Scrub and Kiehl's toner and moisturizer. I've recently become a fan of Kiehl's skincare products.
DETAILS: IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR BODY, IT WOULD BE?
BH: I wish I could change my foot size. Do you know how hard it is to find a size 13 when you see a really cool shoe?! It's so frustrating! Sometimes I don't even ask the clerk if they have my size just to save myself from utter embarrassment or disappointment. Not to mention every time I do a photo shoot I have to squeeze these boats into anything between a 9.5-11, maybe a 12 on a good day, but that's still painful. You do what you've got to do though.
DETAILS: BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
BH: Don't stop trying. Always look for ways to be better. Listen more than you speak and don't stop believing in yourself. Just keep moving and watch the blessings unfold.

FORMER FLAVAWORKS MODEL LIONEL "DRAKE" JACKSON CHARGED IN SEXUAL ABUSE OF TEEN
William "Elmo" Ratliff was arrested last year for "Uttering Forgery". |
Everyone has legal troubles, but these FlavaWorks models always seem to be getting into some sort of legal trouble.
Last year Cocodorm favorite Elmo Jackson, whose real name is William Ratliff was thrown back in jail after "Uttering Forgery." When someone commits this offense it means that they have tried to pass a stolen check with the signature forged, asserting that the check is valid and is theirs to use.
Prior to his 2011 release, he was already serving time for identity theft and credit fraud. He is scheduled to be released in 2016, but his fellow FlavaWorks co-worker may be going away for quite some time:
An Elmwood Park man is accused of fondling a teenage boy, taking lewd pictures of him and threatening to release the photos publicly if the boy didn’t have sex with him, authorities said.
Hotrod and Drake performing in one of FlavaWorks most pirated scenes for RawRods. |
Now, authorities are trying to determine if Jackson abused or assaulted other victims. He is currently being held in the Cook County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Jackson met a 16-year-old boy at a car wash and invited him to his Elmwood Park home, in the 2600 block of North 74th Court in the west suburb. There the two smoked marijuana and the victim fell asleep, prosecutors said.
Jackson tried to take off the victim’s pants while the victim was asleep, and the boy woke up, prosecutors said.
Jackson took photographs of the boy sleeping and posted them to Instagram, and also took pictures of himself fondling the victim. He threatened to release the pictures publicly if the victim didn’t have sex with him, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors said the victim later met with Jackson at his home again because of the threats. The boy left the house when Jackson tried to assault him, prosecutors said.
When the boy told his father about the incidents a few days later, police were contacted, and when they used a warrant to search Jackson's home, Elmwood Park police found incriminating photographs on his phone and further incriminating evidence on his Instagram account, prosecutors said.
Jackson was arrested earlier this year on charges of theft and forgery, both felonies, and that case is still pending, according to Cook County court records. He also has a 2010 felony theft conviction, for which he was sentenced to 18 months probation and community service, records show.
